“How long have you been in business”
We’ve been in business for about 4 years. It started when I came home from my job in the Navy, teaching tactical photography to SEALs, and showed Tianna how to use a camera. She began by photographing couples, newborns, families, and boudoir. Over the years she progressed into shooting weddings and absolutely loved it. She pretty much got everything rolling on her own as I had my busy Navy job. As I was transitioning out of the military, I began to take a more active role in the business and going to shoots with Tianna, and eventually went on full-time with her as a husband and wife team. We’ve been shooting as Andrew & Tianna for about a year and half.
“How would you describe your working style?”
Above all else we want to make sure our clients are having fun and feel comfortable. For a lot of people, it takes hard work to get in front of a camera. We try to make that process as easy and enjoyable as possible. We want to give our clients the best experience, not just amazing photographs. We work great as a team and have an awesome system to make the wedding day smooth and effortless, hopefully not just for us but for the bride and groom as well.
“What are some of your beliefs?”
Our business and life are centered around glorifying Jesus Christ. We run our business according to our faith, meaning valuing integrity, honesty, and putting others before ourselves. We work as hard as we can for our clients and for God to reflect the grace that we have received from Him. We believe in marriage. The wedding day is amazing, but it’s just one day; we believe that what you do with the rest of your marriage is what counts.“Why is it important for brides to communicate with their vendors?”
Not all vendors are the same. It’s important to communicate so you know what you’re getting into and how that person is going to conduct themselves on your wedding day. We highly encourage communication with our clients because the better we know you, the better we are able to reflect your true selves in our photography.
“Why did you become a photographer?”
Tianna and I got married eight years ago. Part of our story includes the fact that we didn’t did hire a photographer for our wedding and all we are left with are dark, low-resolution cellphone pictures. There is very little for us to hang on our walls or show our kids when they get older. We want to be able to provide beautiful images for others that last generations. In a world where it’s fairly easy and inexpensive to pick up a camera and learn how to use it, we want to not only capture memories, but create great memories for our clients and for ourselves.
