Vendor Spotlight| Ava Loren Design

KHR-2016Hi Loves,

We had the pleasure of working with Kamesha Hervey Richard on our most recent “Glamping” styled shoot!  Tiffany and I work closely with Kamesha and our Brides and Grooms. As our business models align so closely, its suiting to share with you all about her and her business Ava Loren Design.

“Why did you become a Designer?”

Details, Details, Dazzling Details drew me to the journey I currently enjoy. My educational background is rooted in the profession of Architecture and designing spaces and crafting places have always been in the fabric of my life. I use the foundations of my educational and professional career daily in pursuing creative solutions for projects presented to me…Now instead of drafting tables with rolls of paper and my computer software, I spend my days (and nights and days) at my kitchen table surrounded by buckets of beautiful blooms and at my desk drafting floor plans for events and producing pretty papers for the next wonderful Wedding Celebration or welcoming a New Little One into the world. All in all, it’s the life I’ve always hoped for but I am happy to know that this is only the bright, new beginning.ALD-captured by Rob Lyons Photography (2)

“How long have you been in business?”

I am blessed to say that I have been “perfecting practice” for 8 years now and “professionally crafting” for 4 years. I began as a full-time working professional and a part-time entrepreneur and with all of the beautiful changes that life has a knack for bringing, I was presented the opportunity to become a solo-preneur and have been charting ahead ever since.

“What is your working style?”

I would describe my work flow style as “fluidly structured”. I always like to begin with a carefully plotted plan that gives me a solid foundation and roadmap for achieving my targeted finished goal. The great part is that such a plan as leaves the sails of my creative heart free to take wind and fly with any unique “challenges or additions” that come my way in the process.

I am personally passionate about the fine details of all things and how they impact the big picture of my personal and professional life. I believe in being intentional in making others feel cherished, celebrated and appreciated. I believe in creating lasting impressions and memories for a lifetime [SN: I am frequently the person behind the camera capturing the memories of the most special times of my family’s days.] I believe in giving the best effort in all things, large and small, and doing so with a passionate, authentic heart. I am a Believer in Christ and His creative inspiration both fuels and keeps me grounded. Faith and Love fuel my passion for my craft and I truly believe that purpose is wrapped in layers of Persistence and Patience.
Our Design Studio functions with a penchant for thoughtfully detailed and highly crafted production. We hold dear the values for passion-led craftsmanship, a comprehensive design approach for each unique project and thoughtfully designed details that create an Experience to remember for a lifetime… all crafted “with Love…” ♡Col.3:23♡

02-Details“Why is it important for brides to communicate with their vendors?”

As with any effective relationship, constant communication is the cornerstone of success in every way. Open avenues for comfortable sharing and chatting are a must for most everyone to feel confidently heard but especially between a Bride-to-Be and her Vendor Family. Because the effort to plan a sensational solution is such a detailed and delicate process, knowing all of the most current happenings that would affect the intended efforts of any vendor can be greatly complimented, and adversely compromised, by hearing directly from those expecting the most from them, The Bride and Groom.

Thank You for your friendship and for allow us to work with you on a project that meant a lot to all those involved. You want to know more information about Ava Loren Design? visit their website at http://avalorendesign.com/
